The third Istam meeting was held from 6-10 November 2006 in Tenerife at the Instituto Español de Oceanografia (IEO). The objectives of the meeting were, among others, to discuss the progress in the implementation of the project’s activities, identify problems and propose solutions to overcome them.

An XML course took place prior to the meeting on 3-4 November. The course was meant for persons in charge of fisheries databases within Istam partner institutions.
