|Improve Scientific and Technical Advices for Fisheries Management||
Mickael Treguer is an engineer, graduating in software engineering in 2001 from the "Ecole Nationale des Ingenieurs" at Brest. Since this date, he has worked at Ifremer, developing technical expertise in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and in the associated tools and standards such as "ISO 19115 Â– Meta-data for the geographically referenced data" and "OpenGIS -Web Map servers (WMS), Web Feature servers (WFS)". During this period, he has designed and developed GIS oriented software, especially for oceanographic data management systems and IFREMER's "Fisheries information system". He is involved in several European projects as technical specialist in Geographical Information Systems: Marine XML, Sea Search.
